Day 3!

This is day 3 of Sassy Studio Designs Anniversary relay, and the image today is Bewitched, doesn't she look enchanting! No wonder she is one of their bestsellers. I will admit that I found this one a little more challenging than the others, only because I do not celebrate Halloween and didn't know what papers to use. That being said, I think I managed pretty well.
This card is also being entered into Card Patterns sketch 66, why not go by and play. They are being sponsored by Little Paper Shop this week, you have until Friday, June 4th. at 11:59 EST.

Sassy Relay Day 2

Today is day 2 of Sassy Studio Designs relay and hopefully you played along yesterday, if you did than you would have gotten Princess Penelope! She is so beautiful and was a lot of fun to color. The designed paper I used is from Kate Knight, I think the paper is just perfect for her.

Wedding Album Again!

Okay, I know I started this in an earlier post but did not finish. I decided to show you my parents scrapbook album in a slide show instead of doing it individually, like I was doing before. This makes it so much easier, and I learned something new today.
So, again, this is just a completed version of this and this.
Thanks for looking!!

Something to Love!

Over at Mo's digital pencil, the challenge last week was about L-O-V-E, I think this little guy depicts that. He certainly has love for his train and I guess whoever gave it to him!

Wedding Card!

I have a wedding to go to on the 23rd, and I'm having difficulties deciding on what kind of card I should do. I'm not sure of the color of the wedding, so here are a few different cards that I came up with. Tell me what you think?

I cased this card last year from Linda Duke, her blog site is Linda's Work of Heart, she has a tutorial on this and other amazing projects using the spellbinder Renaissance Hearts Pendent and borderabilities. Go check out her site.

Here's another one I did using Spellbinders In Spades Pendant and Sizzix embossing folder Wedding Set #2. I am also entering this card into Annabelle's Say it in.. White challenge this week.
This last card was done with Cuttlebugs D'vine Swirls and Inkadinkados rubber stamp.

DONE!!!!!

Well, I'm finally finished my "craft room", It took me long enough.
I'm somewhat happy with the results, I left my daughters computer in the room and I brought up her craft stuff so we can work together in the room. Here are some pictures!

The room is small but I was able to fit all my stuff in it, and boy am I happy. Mind you this is only my paper stuff and not my cross stitch, that is still downstairs in storage. Guess the room can only hold one craft.

Wedding Album!!

I wanted to share with you my first attempt at scrapbooking. I made this scrapbook album of my parents wedding and presented it to them on their 43rd wedding anniversary 3 years ago September 13. I had wanted to learn to scrapbook for sometime, I had seen people from my work doing it and thought I'd take a class. The teacher of the class was not the regular teacher but still a scrapbooker. I seemed to have a really hard time with it, I had ideas but they where all over the place. Needless to say, I never completed that page I was working on. A few months later, my girlfriend and I bumped into and old friend of ours, and she was into scrapbooking big time. We took a look at some of her pages and they were absolutely beautiful, she was telling us about all the different techniques she was using on one page to the next, and believe it or not, that is when the light bulb went on. I realized that it wasn't as hard as I was making it out to be, and all I had to do is make the pages pretty, creative and interesting. That was when I decided to make the album for my parents! All the pictures are in black and white, and are copies of the original pictures. Here are the first 3 pages today.
