Hoedown!

This week at Hambo Hoedown the challenge is to be Bold and Bright and paper piece. I, of course missed last week challenge and didn't get the What's Up image so instead I used Coffee Girl, another great image to paper piece.

The image is from Designed2Delight, it was this months freebie, hopefully you got to play with it last week, and received Skater Boy in your inbox. This card is being entered into Digi Doodle Shop Best challenge as well, the theme is Blue and Pink, I love the way this card turned out. This card is also being entered into Sew Many challenge where anything goes!

Here is a card I did for Doodle Pantry challenge, the theme is to use one of their images. This one is called Jelly Bean Ants, isn't it cute!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Just in case you didn't know, today is Mother's Day here in Canada and U.S. As it's only after 2:00 am, I'm not sure what or if my kids will be doing anything for me. Truth be told, here where I live, an ihops opened not to long ago, it's the only one we have within the city, I wanted the kids to take me there, I keep hearing how packed, busy and good it is and would like to check it out for myself!
Anyhoo, I love how this card turned out, the image was a freebie from Nana Vic's group over at CDAC, isn't it beautiful! I used copics to color the roses pink, that's my girlfriend's favorite color, a
then I used stickles to give it the sparkly look. Here is a close up.

This is a very special day for her because technically this is her very 1st Mother's Day. I am so very happy for her, this is what it says inside. I hope she'll enjoy her day!
