Baby Shower!

My girlfriend is having a baby boy and we had a shower for her on the 19th of June, she was so happy and surprised! Everyone had a good time, fun games, lots of food and of course she got some wonderful gifts. My other girlfriend, Jill, and I decided to get a diaper cake done for her, I don't have any pictures without the gift wrap, but I think it turned out very nice. I may have to try this myself. Thank you Roxanne!!

June Mingle Sent

Here is the birthday themed card I did for Magnolia-licious mingle yahoo group. The person I had to send this to was Kylie Thompson who lives all the way in Australia, I hope you like it. Hop on over and take a look at her blog.

First Mingle Received

I recently found a store here in Edmonton, that sells Magnolia stamps and decided to sign up at the Magnolia-licious Yahoo group. I also decided to join a mingles group for this month, what happens is you put your name in, they mingle you up and you have to send a card to the person they put you with. For this month of June it was their birthday bash, they have been having different challenges every week, so it only made sense that their theme would be birhtdays. Here is a card that Line Cinq Mars sent me, don't you just love it! Thank you very much Line.

Time of the Month!

It's that time of the month again! No, not that time, it's time for Faith's Designed2Delight's first challenge of the month, and here is the card I made with her freebie, Potted Flowers, isn't it pretty! As this is a progressive challenge, if you play along each week you will get a new freebie the following week via email to play with, everybody wins. The 4th and final image from Sassy Studio Designs relay is The Sassy Hatter, this of course comes from the release of Tim Burton's and Disney's Alice in Wonderland Movie staring Johnny Depp. It comes as no surprise that this image is everyone's favorite. Instead of a card I decided that I would make a gift basket that could hold a variety of tea packages.

Sassy is also clearing out some of their older images, they have a list of them here, go on over and purchase the images that you want before the 15th of June or they'll be gone forever.
