Butterfly Pig!

Wow, haven't been here since May, I've been a very busy person these last few months. I want to do something to make up for my absents here, plus, this month is my Birthday, so I've decided to offer up some blog Candy. I'll be back with a post about it later.

Rose Pot

Each Month over at Doodle Pantry, their challenge is to use one of their images and you get one in return, so everyone wins! This months prize image is Scuba Sheep and Ant , also, they are giving away a $15 gift certificate to 2 people. 

The image I used is called Mini Rose Pot , I love this image as it can be used for a number of occasions.

I myself am not a coffee drinker but I hear that this is pretty much how coffee drinkers are before their first cup.
This week at Hambo Hoedown they gave us their Monster Yell image to use on this weeks sketch challenge.

I do hope all the Mothers out there had a wonderful, pampered Mother's Day on Sunday.
The CDAC progressive challenge theme this time around is " You've got the sweetest little baby face!"
I used Odds and Soxlets, Sock Monkey image and made a CAS card.

Flowers!

The challenge this week over at Hambo Hoedown is to have flowers on your creation. I used their image Goat 
with one of their sentiment both at front and inside the card! I added punched grass and flowers with stickles.

This weeks challenge over at Doodle Dragon Studios is to use the colors Red, Orange and Yellow.

Over at Flutter by Wednesday, the challenge is to CASE  her very first Flutter by Wednesday card. This is what I did.

Count 4 Me!!

The ladies over at Hambo Hoedown are at it again, this time they want you

add four of something. In my case, I used this weeks image from Hambo stamps

called Candles

and added 4 square tiles along with using 4 different colors.

The sketch I'm using is from the Outlaws Wednesday sketch challenge.

Plaids!!

Over at Hambo Hoedown they're Smitten with plaid or multiple layers of pattern paper.

I used there image Paper Boy for this weeks challenge.

This week the ladies at Hambo Hoedown wants everyone to make an easel card using at least 3 spring colors. Just in case you don't know what the spring colors are, they are lavender, yellow, pink, green and blue! I do believe I have all the colors of spring on my card. If you played last week you would have gotten this cute image called Bunny Parade, to play with this week. Here is a close up of my card!

Be Kind and Send A Smile!!

A little 7 year old girl by the name of Emily has been fighting leukemia since before December of 2011. She has had to endure more pain in one year then most adults in their entire life. She has gone from Leukemia to Rotavirus, to pancreatitis, to kidney stones then to shingles, not to mention over 300 pokes in her little tiny body. From chemo to blood draws to feeding tubes. She has definitely had her ups and her downs.

Over at Dustin's Pike, he is asking that you send Emily a card to help brighten her day, he is even offering you a full set of digital images. All you have to do is, be kind and send a smile by making and sending a card. You can read all about it on his blog Here, I would really like to encourage all my followers to do this.

Emily has a long life ahead of her and with the encouragement of her family and friends is fighting with all her strength. You can read about Emily and her progress on her Aunts blog HERE.

Easter Birdie!

At the beginning of each month, Laurie Wilson from the Doodle Pantry releases New Digital Images and a challenge. For the challenges all you have to do is make something using one of her images, and in return you get a featured set of images for free. So everyone's a winner, you got to love that.

This month I used one of Laurie's New Release images called, Easter Birdie, and just in time for Easter too.

The sketch I used is from The Outlaws Wednesday sketch challenge.

What U Got!!

I used this freebie from Anne over at The Outlaws, Creative Freebie Challenge, and made this card. The challenge is every two weeks and everyone who plays, wins. Zoo Animals!!

The challenge this week over at Dustin Pike's Doodle Dragon is to create something using zoo animals. Once again, if you play, you win, everyone who enters gets a brand new image that won't be available in the shop until later in the year.

I decided to make a bookmark out of those mischievous monkeys, as I'm forever forgetting my place in my books, they will help keep me on the straight and narrow, okay probable not, but they will remand me where I'm at.

What's going on at Hambo Hoedown, well, somebody needs a hug! This weeks challenge is to add stripes to Bailey Hug, which is the image you would have received if you played last week. Isn't he just adorable!

I'm forever losing my place in my books, so this week I decided to make several bookmarks, one using this image, Bailey Hug. I used Copic markers and added texture/fur to Bailey by using my blending solution, then I added paws to the twine. Here is a close up!

So now I hopefully don't have to worry about losing my place, I'll have Bailey Hugs to remind me where I'm at.

CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge 13!

This is CDAC's 3rd series of progressive challenges, you still have a few more days to play, and you don't have to buy in because this is the 1st challenge. I wanted to make something clean and simply and this is what I came up with. The flower image is from Glitterbabe and is called, Just a Flower, I coloured, cut and shaped them and added a simple message to the card.

Tic Tac Toe!

The Hambo Hoedown ladies are playing tic tac toe this week! This month they are celebrating there 10 year in business! Wow, Congrats ladies. All this month they have special things going on, so don't forget to stop by and find out what they are. For my tic tac toe 3 items are dots, green and buttons, I'm actually happy the way it turned out!

Spring Time Flutter!!

Made this card for Flutter By Wednesday challenge 193. The theme this week is "Spring time" just remember to use a butterly, fairy, or angel. The butterfly image I used is a freebie from The Outlaws challenge Creative Freebies, go on over and take a look!!

I used Natasha from Stamping Bella, I think she is just to cute, to play in this weeks challenge from Flutter By Wednesday. Flutter By Wednesday is having another open challenge this week, all you have to do is remember to use/add a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creations! Bring on the Bling!

This weeks challenge at Dustin Pike is all about the bling, I decided to re-size this image so I could use it as a door hanger. I used Copic Markers and then Smooch glitz for the gold frame and Smooch for the frog and used stickles for the flowers. The lettering and scissor is cut from A child's year cartridge cricut . So, go on over to Dustin Pike's blog and find out about the new challenge rules.

Well, this week at Flutter by Wednesday, the challenge is Anything Goes as long as it has wings!!

So, of course I had to use this bird hat, I love this stamp, I think it's so elegant.

This week's Flutter By Wednesday challenge is an "open" week - anything you want to make, but of course, include butterflies, fairies or angels.
Here I used Alcohol re-inkers with my blending tool to make the background, then stamped the tree and added the ribbon. Simple right! but I love the the effect!

Okay, so , I don't do a lot of masculine cards, but I decided to try one with one of the free images from The Outlaws, Creative Freebies Challenge group. Truth be told, I'm not that happy with the way it turned out, but I am still learning, and have to practice more! You only have until the 15th to play, so head on over and play.

Sweet On Ya!

This is not a card but a note pad I made with Annie image for the Creative Freebie Challenge on The Outlaws. Well, 2011 has come and gone, Welcome 2012.

Today, I'm off to my parents home to celebrate another year.
